By creating an account or using Dharohara Vidya (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- One person per account; do not impersonate others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, or infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Manipulate points, streaks, or leaderboards, or create fake accounts.
Your content
You keep ownership of the reflections you write. By marking a reflection public, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it to other users within the app, alongside your display name and avatar. You can make it private again or delete it at any time.
Moderation
To keep the community safe, we may remove content and may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms. Where a suspension is temporary, it ends automatically on the stated date. You will be told the reason.
The texts
The app presents sacred and heritage texts with transliteration, translation, and commentary. Translations and commentary are provided for study and reflection and may contain interpretive choices or errors; they are not a substitute for scholarly or spiritual guidance. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We will revise the "last updated" date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (Confirm the correct jurisdiction with your legal reviewer.)
